SPONDA\ is a space for producing thought and dramaturgical writing forged on the back of the research and creation of certain artists resident at the Mattatoio, deepening and amplifying the exchange and reflection conducted in earlier editions of Prender-si cura. 

The encounters are devised in the form of a special space-time of dialogue to delineate a landscape of dramaturgical investigation and practice capable of accompanying the artists’ research and production pathways and at the same time of producing archive material (written, audio) useful for the investigations of the dramaturges involved. 

SPONDA\ is produced in collaboration with the Short Theatre festival and in continuity with Les Cliniques Dramaturgiques, developed in the context of the festival, to act as a prop, activating critical trajectories, mentoring and exchange practices between artists and dramaturges, focusing on dramaturgical experimentations in the field of the performance arts.

Prender-si cura is the name of the artistic research and production residency programme devised and curated by Ilaria Mancia, held in the spaces of La Pelanda at the Mattatoio. A group of artists are invited to develop their research, ranging from dance and theatrical performance to visual art, music and video.
