is it my world? / Rome is a performance crossing the city from Pasolini's Rome to Fascist Rome and from the archaeological city to the papal capital in a kind of Olympic relay race where the body and the word are fused into a single poetic gesture: a pathway joining distant points in the city marked by different ways of living, from the postcard city to the suburbs, asking a question triggering potential reflections on the complexity of our contemporary world.
is it my wold? directly impacts the city, crossing it in a race that raises a flag, at once question and testimonial.
is it my world? is a utopian challenge to the notion that no "other" world can exist than the one that has been handed down to us by a way of organising society that increasingly reveals its limitations and its unhappiness with every passing day. A question to chase, an invitation to seek the best of all possible worlds, first and foremost within ourselves. Or else to start imagining other worlds.

Kinkaleri was established in 1995 as a collection of formats and means poised in the attempt. The group's dynamic nature has allowed it to consolidate a personal creative style that has earnt recognition on the contemporary performance art scene both in Italy and abroad. Kinkaleri develops its production range through diversified itineraries: shows, performances, installations, video productions, sounds, layouts and publications. Since 2001 Kinkaleri's operational base has been in Prato, at the  spazioK; the group currently comprises Massimo Conti, Marco Mazzoni and Gina Monaco.
