A guided tour with Alessandro Vannini, a PhD maths student and a performer in the project, who will be walking us through some of the more fascinating and bizarre aspects of differential geometry and topology. What are the basic properties of a geometrical form? What does the space-time curve mean? Are the concepts linked? Prompted by these and other questions, we will be exploring the modern lines of research into this branch of mathematics.
