With the exhibition, Money in Space by artist Paolo Monti 37788, around one hundred works which represent the principle creative cycles developed by Paolo Monti starting in the mid-eighties, brings to light the significant role played by this artist on the Roman scene, for example, elements of connection between discipline and different areas of research, not to mention various institutions. His work has, infact, involved scholars and scientific university departments, including the aerospacial sector, to which the title of the exhibition refers.
Monti's tie to the territory of Rome emerges with force, helping to strengthen the dialogue between art and science, notable inheritance of Italian culture and, in particular, that of the Capitoline. In this context fundamental experiences take place, like those developed in the 70's around artists Maurizio Mochetti, Ettore Innocente, Sergio Lombardo and the intense activity of the Jarkator Gallery, active between the 80's and 90's.
The exhibition itinerary extends with works from the middle of the early 80's to more recent research, centred upon relations with the expansion of physical space and the use of satellites, starting from 2006.
