Visual Art Prize
founded by Guido Talarico

Talent Prize is an international contemporary art contest, founded by Inside Art, the first media company in Italy dedicated to communication on contemporary art and art advisory.  Now in its twelfth edition, it is the reference event for young talents who work in the fields of painting, photography, sculpture, installation and video and ends each year with an important collective exhibition, now a fixed appointment in the roman autumn season. 
The twelfth edition was won by Giulio Squillacciotti with the work Note sopra le virtù - Costume per un monologo mai andato in scena, with which the roman artist won a cash prize of 5 thousand euros. The work is a sculpture made with mixed materials and tells an anthropological research that the artist done for telling the vastness of the creative process. For one year, in fact, in the Anthropological Museum of Turin, Squillacciotti studied the collections of works and drawings from the mental hospital of Collegno, produced by patients at the turn of IX and XX centuries, and his attention was focused on a scenography for a theatrical show never gone on stage.
